The Energizing Smaller Churches Network (ESCN) promotes the health and growth of smaller churches by affirming their value and enlarging their vision.
Formed in the fall of 2004 by a group of church leaders sharing a burden to help smaller churches achieve their ministry potential, the ESCN has experienced significant growth in its brief history. From four conferences in 2006, to 11 conferences in 2007, to the 21 conferences planned in 2008, the impact of the ESCN is being felt across North America.
Developing the theme, “Your Ministry Matters,” each 2008 ESCN conference is uniquely designed for leaders and volunteers in smaller churches. Plenary sessions led by nationally known church leaders affirm the value of the smaller church and equip smaller church leaders and volunteers for effective ministry. Specialized workshop sessions offer step-by-step instructions, specific tools, and helpful resources for smaller church ministry.
In addition, the ESCN is committed to being a true network, bringing together leaders and volunteers in smaller churches across America through conferences, Internet communication, consultation, and relationship building.
